LED masks, sculpting tools and misters
LED face mask: Therasage TheraGlow Mask2Go 8 Mode, $299
A flexible silicone and surgical-grade polymer mask, 11.44 by 7.45 inches and 0.12 inches thick, 6.2 oz, held on by adjustable straps. 88 LED bead sets (352 chips) run eight modes: red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, purple, white and infrared. A rechargeable handheld controller sets the mode, three intensities (low, medium, high) and the session length; a 2.5-hour charge gives about 70 minutes of use. Therasage does not publish wavelengths in nm or irradiance for this mask; ask us.
Red light sculpting tool: Therasage TheraSculpt, $147
A 1.9 oz handheld device, 5.7 by 0.75 by 0.53 inches, with a 360-degree rotating massage head for the cheeks, jawline, forehead and neck. It combines red, blue and purple LEDs and near-infrared light with EMS microcurrent, gentle heat and vibration at 12,000 pulses per minute, at three intensity levels. It draws 3 W or less at 5 V and charges on 110 to 240 V. Therasage suggests 5 to 15 minutes per area. Wavelengths in nm are not stated. This is the tool to look at if you were searching for a microcurrent facial device.
Facial mister: BioLight Mystic Nano-Mister, $139.30
A slim handheld atomizer that turns lightweight, water-based facial mists into a fine spray. 9 mL reservoir, about 30 seconds per use, in White, Rose Gold or Magenta. BioLight designed it for its own mists (Blue Mist, Gold Mist, BioMinerals Mist and BioMinerals Platinum Mist) and advises against oils, thick serums or other unsupported liquids. It carries a 3-year limited warranty from BioLight. Battery, charging and dimensions are not published; ask us.
