About WalkingPad
WalkingPad is the home fitness brand of KingSmith, and its site signs off "Powered by KingSmith." The company built its name on the folding walking pad: a motorized deck with no console tower that folds or slides away when it is not in use. On its about page the company lists 264 patents, sales in 87 territories, more than 1.7 million units sold and its own factory.
The range has grown past walking pads. WalkingPad now groups its treadmills into series by how they fold and how fast they go: the Just Walk series (walking only, for under a desk), the Hybrid series (a handrail that lowers for desk walking and rises for jogging), the Foldable Classic series and the Vertical Fold series (X21, X214, X25 and X218), which fold and stand upright against a wall and are built for walking, jogging and running. Around them sit magnetic and water rowers, magnetic bikes including an office bike with a backrest, folding benches, pneumatic and electric standing desks, steppers, ellipticals and a vibration plate.
Most connected models pair with the free KS Fit app. WalkingPad's FAQ says no subscription or monthly fee is needed to use a WalkingPad or its basic workout functions; optional third-party apps such as Kinomap can charge separately.
WalkingPad's US warranty is a 1-year limited warranty across all product categories, and that is the term on every product here.
