Teeth whitening and oral light therapy require two separate devices -- until now. The Guardian+ combines blue (460nm), red (630nm), and NIR (850nm) in one mouthpiece, with three light settings and three whitening gel pens included.

The standard Guardian handles oral red and NIR light therapy. But if you also want teeth whitening, you are looking at a second device, a second charging routine, and a second daily step. That friction adds up.

The Guardian+ consolidates both into one mouthpiece. It adds 460nm blue light to the existing 630nm red and 850nm NIR configuration, with blue LEDs in the top row and red and NIR LEDs in the bottom row. Three light settings let you run blue only for whitening, red and NIR only for oral health, or all three together. Three 2 oz whitening gel pens using 36% carbamide peroxide are included.

An automated 5-minute timer manages each half of the mouth independently -- run the first 5 minutes, rotate 180 degrees, run the second 5 minutes. The flexible BPA-free silicone mouthpiece is waterproof and charges via magnetic USB with over 2.5 hours of battery life per charge.

  • For teeth whitening: apply whitening gel to teeth before inserting the mouthpiece.
  • Select your light setting -- blue only for whitening, red and NIR only for oral health, or combo for both.
  • Insert the mouthpiece and power on. The 5-minute timer starts automatically.
  • After the first 5 minutes, rotate the device 180 degrees to treat the opposite row of teeth for another 5 minutes.
  • Use once or twice daily. Clean and dry the mouthpiece after each session and store in the included case.

Teeth Whitening and Oral Light Therapy in One Device

The Guardian+ is the upgrade from the standard Guardian, adding 460nm blue light to the existing 630nm red and 850nm NIR configuration. Blue light is used in teeth whitening applications and for its antibacterial properties in the oral cavity. The combination allows a single device to address both whitening and oral health in the same session.

Three Light Settings for Different Oral Applications

Three light settings give you the flexibility to use the device for whitening only (blue light only), oral health only (red and NIR only), or both simultaneously (blue and red and NIR combo). This allows you to run whitening sessions separately from or combined with red light oral health sessions depending on your goals.

Flexible BPA-Free Mouthpiece With Row Separation

The blue LEDs are positioned in the top row and the red and NIR LEDs in the bottom row of the mouthpiece. For full-mouth coverage, complete half the session, then rotate the device 180 degrees for the second half. The flexible BPA-free silicone mouthpiece is waterproof and charges via magnetic USB.

Includes Three Whitening Gel Pens

Three 2 oz teeth whitening gel pens using 36% carbamide peroxide are included with the Guardian+. Carbamide peroxide is noted in whitening research for faster results compared to hydrogen peroxide at equivalent concentrations. Additional gel pens are available separately from BioLight.
