Fast Axis Collimation uses LIMO brand micro-optical technology to focus short-distance laser beams quickly. At 32mm working distance, FAC produces 10 J/cm² @ 20ms; without FAC, the same beam delivers only ~2 J/cm².
Three wavelengths (755/808/1064nm) cover the most meaningful skin tones and hair types. Some clinics prefer four wavelengths (adding 940nm) for additional skin wellness; the DM20 focuses on the core three for streamlined operation.
IP65 is an industrial dust-and-water ingress protection rating. The handpiece is fully enclosed against dust, supporting durability in busy clinic environments.
FHR (Fast Hair Removal) uses high-frequency low-energy pulses for quick coverage. HR (Hair Removal) uses standard pulses for thorough treatment. SR (Skin wellness) uses different parameters for skin tone improvement.
The laser bar is rated to deliver up to 200 million shots before significant performance degradation. At typical clinic volume, that's roughly 5-10 years of regular use.
