The Hume Pod is a smart body composition scale with a platform and hand sensors that measures weight and body composition through bioelectrical impedance.

Each scan reports weight, body fat percentage, fat mass, muscle mass, skeletal muscle mass, visceral fat, body water and basal metabolic rate, with segmental readings for the arms, trunk and legs. It also reads heart rate during the scan.

The scale holds up to 400 lb, measures 12.7 x 12.7 x 1.1 in and has a 2.8 in display. It charges with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and syncs over Bluetooth to the free Hume Health app, which is required to weigh in and view results. No subscription is required; Hume offers an optional paid Premium tier.
